Hi! It’s me, Ty!
The Big Man is getting ready to squeeze down my chimney in a few days…I cannot wait!!!
In the meantime, I thought I’d share some of my family’s celebration again this year. Fun! Since we moved to Texas just over a year ago, we have created a tradition of my Grandma & Grandpa coming out from California to start the holiday season right with our
Christmas Kickoff!
You can view the video & read my post I made last year for my 3rd Grade project HERE.

Each year everyone gets a new ornament that represents something special that happened to you during that year and we put it on a special little tree. Last year I got an ornament all about Texas and our big move. This year my ornament is a dinosaur, because of all the growing up I have done…that and one of my nicknames is “T-Rex” LOL.
When Grandma & “Granpops” visited this year, we all took a trip to whiz down ice slides and see amazing, gigantic Madagascar (the movie) ice sculptures inside of a huge, freezing tent. Brrr…at 9 degrees my face started to freeze and it got really hard to talk!
Oh and we dressed Sid up like a mini-Santa bah-hahahahahaha!!!! Yeah, he wasn’t very happy, but it was soooo funny. It had to be done.
Do you have any fun, quirky holiday traditions like my family? I’d love to hear them!
