Hi! It’s me, Ty!
You made it, dude! I’m so glad you’re here!
App-ucation Month is one of my favorite times of the year (on my blog) because I get to share all of my favorite learning apps, make lots of videos, introduce you to awesome new people and give stuff away all to raise money for an iPad and Down syndrome cognition research.
While we wait for medical advances in cognition research for people with Down syndrome, there is technology out there that continues to increase a child’s ability to learn.
The month of February is dedicated to those technologies on Ty’s Adventures. You can click the AppMo2013 Stamp at the top of this post to go to the AppMo landing page to find links of everything AppMo.
Cognition is one of the hardest things for me to gain…Mom explains it like this, it’s like I have holes in my memory and sometimes those holes move around and swallow up different memories. So one day I will be able to remember my address, and other days I won’t. It’s just the way my brain works; that’s why cognition research is so important and the apps I can use on an iPad can help me while the scientists are figuring all of that out.
If you’re new here, the App-ucation Month tab on the top of my blog is where you will find links to everything AppMo, including…

3 lucky people will be chosen from the Rafflecopter below in one week on February 8th and each given one copy of both apps.
2 more lucky people who are new to my blog and comment telling me HI will be given a copy of All About Me Storybook from I Get It Apps.
I have this app (thanks to Amy) & it’s really great to help me remember important stuff like my address, phone number, my grandparents phone number in case of an emergency…complete with pics and everything! I need to know this important stuff in case I’m ever lost *yikes* or even so I can tell my friend my address so they can come play. This is big stuff in the life of social 10-year-old people!
